Kirk Driscoll

Kirk began his maritime career in 2000 as a deckhand in the tourism industry, quickly made his way up the ladder, and obtained his Master's ticket before moving into the commercial tug space. "Captain Kirk" started with Pacific Tug in 2008 as a Mate and Master working on the Pacific Tug fleet around the Australian Coast. By 2011, he was a senior Master and, in between project work, undertook his Master 500-tonne ticket. Kirk is now the Marine Operations Manager for Brisbane and manages Pacific Tug's fleet of tugs and barges in the Brisbane River, as well as project work. As a hands-on manager, he is a fantastic mentor to our trainees and crew who want to upskill.
